A Couple Of Things You Need To Know About Credit Repair
I'm a janitor. I clean the bathrooms. I scrub off spray paint. It is a thankless job.
Perhaps the only rewarding aspect of my existence is the interactions I have with the kids. Sure they make smart ass remarks and act like they are hot s--t, but most of them know that I am on their side and treat me with a lot of respect. Part of the reason they like me is that I give out impromptu financial advice. If the kiddies need credit repair, they can come to me and I will not get their parents nor their guidance counselors involved. A lot of times a person in need of credit repair will want that kind of confidentiality, and to feel as if they are conquering their problems on their own. I just get them going in the right direction. When it comes to their credit problems they clean up their own messes, by and large. How else are they going to learn, I asks you?
They're not. When it comes to credit repair, you either do it or you don't. There can be no crutch.
Let me state for the record that I, Ed Stuck, am not a licensed financial advisor, nor have I ever been employed by any non-profit debt reduction agency or consumer credit counseling service. I am simply a man who believes in the power of the human spirit, in the ability to make things right with the world. The chance for all people to become better consumers and know the power of their own minds. This is what I aspire to when I teach credit repair. It is not about the money to me. It is about arming tomorrow's leaders for the real world. When it comes to my efforts, I do whatever I can to instill in the students of DCHS the virtues of smart financial management and credit card debt relief. It is a simple life, but one that I am proud of nonetheless.
