Damn. These kids never cease to amaze me. You would think having seven prominently labeled and displayed cans (and I mean trash cans, not my boy Julio) displayed around the school, they would actually deposit their garbage in them. But they don't. They find ways to create more of a mess for me to clean up. I'm a lot like a debt management company in that I am always picking up after people when they screw up. That's okay, though. I like my job. Working at the school gives me a sense of purpose, and on the side, I can talk to all the kiddies about joining a debt management company and why that's such a good idea.

I tell them what to look for in a good debt management program if they are serious about getting their finances in other.

1. When you are searching far and wide for debt management, a company whose values are in line with yours is always worth seeking out. I am talking about a non-profit company that does not charge any fees, and whose services are comprehensive.
2. You are gonna wanna work with a debt management service that takes all your needs into account. If you have credit card problems or anything else, you are going to want specific, concentrated attention and 1-on-1 service from these fools.
3. Another thing you have got to realize is that if you aren't saving at least 33 percent overall through debt management, you are probably getting hosed, because most creditors are more than willing to grant you such a deal if you work with a company they trust and respect. I know a coupla these companies myself and can pass your name along if you like.
